Fifteen years of Zen flavor
A vegetarian restaurant in District 3 that chose the harder way: no mock meat.
Hoan Hy opened in 2010, in a lane off Nam Ky Khoi Nghia street, District 3. While most vegetarian kitchens leaned on imitation shrimp, meat and fish, Hoan Hy chose the “Thiền vị” (Zen flavor) school: dishes built from fruits, vegetables and fresh mushrooms, so that sweetness comes only from nature itself.
The house motto fits in one line: “Unique cuisine from nature.” Everything is cooked entirely from plants, no artificial flavoring, no preservatives. Produce is selected carefully every day, because when nothing masks the taste, only truly fresh vegetables and mushrooms make a good dish.

Mushrooms and tofu are the two souls of this kitchen. From sizzling oyster-mushroom rolls and mushroom salads to green-rice tofu that is soft inside and crisp outside, hundreds of dishes, rustic and creative, have taken shape here. Today the menu counts more than 80 pure Vietnamese vegetarian dishes.
“When nothing is imitation, sweetness must be the real taste of vegetables and mushrooms.
Three years in, VnExpress covered the restaurant as it expanded. Later Hoan Hy reached Nha Trang, where VTC News lists it among the seaside city's best vegetarian tables. Fifteen years, two cities, one unchanged promise: eat plant-based, live gently, and keep the mind at peace.

Fresh produce every morning and a pot of lotus tea, the spirit of Zen flavor.
